2024 PRS Custom 24 10 Top

It’s the latest edition of the ERGONOMIC champion PRS Custom 24…after I’ve recorded demo videos with some top of the range Gibson Custom Shop Les Pauls for hours I’ve really felt the difference when I’ve grabbed this one for recording the video with it…oh man…what a difference…Mr Paul Reed Smith who is the Steve Jobs of the guitar industry has been tweaking this guitar for nearly 40 years and every year it becomes better and better… (instead of trying to go back to 1959 like the other big brands do)…so really a high tech guitar when it comes to intonation accuracy, playability, tuning stability, comfort etc…

As I’ve said many times these guitars were BORN IN TUNE…they sound and stay in tune. It has almost as long sustain with a floating tremolo bridge than a Les Paul with a stop tailpiece design and this one stays in tune better with a trem than a Les Paul with a fixed bridge :-)…it says a lot…

I also dig the new tuning pegs! They feel better, lighter and even more accurate than the previous generation. The whole guitar is so lightweight and easy to play. Pattern thin neck profile, ultra low, buzzing free action, very balanced and loud sound everywhere on the fretboard with a tons of overtones….

So yes I’m impressed with this latest generation. I’m a big fan of CU24 and PRS guitars anyway. I own, play and tour with a few….

I dig the colour as well! This is a very authentic PRS colour: McCarty Sunburst. The “10 Top” flame maple top looks like a 11 Top to me…absolute shockingly beautiful from every angle.
