2007 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Burst (SOLD)
SOLD
From a well-sought after (newer) era, before Gibson started playing with the pots and produced the overcomplicated electronics
(I’ve got a brand new 2014 LP Standard and I bloody hate the useless, overcomplicated pots, as I never use any coil splitting,it produces a crappy single coil sound, nowhere near to a Strat or Tele…completely useless feature.)
So it’s got a great 60s neck, fantastic Burstbucker pickups, great low action, a very attractive, classic looking Cherry Burst finish. It’s quite lightweight due the weight relieving but because of the chambering it’s got the typical ES-335 character in the tone, such a great Robben Ford style tone.
The back and the neck look quite special: very nice grain and the neck has a bit of mahogany flames (quite rare)!
It’s in very good condition, no major damages, no dings-dents or chips. Only a few surface hairline scratches, no buckle rush neither.
It comes with its original Gibson hard case which has some wear and tear but it works fine.
Just a really nice Gibson Les Paul Standard in great condition for very good price: £1300!!! SOLD
