2001 Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Telecaster (SOLD)
SOLD
Here you go, when you are ready: the absolute winner of the TWANG championship!
2001 Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Telecaster. It’s a good old Tele, if you after a spotless condition guitar then look elsewhere but if you like some marks, scratches, journeys and stories of a musician’s instrument then this is the best choice for you! It’s not like the road worn or the custom shop relic when they use some fake relic technique…it’s got real road worn marks here and there 🙂 I dig it. A truely beautiful guitar, the workmanship is fantastic, the Custom Shop is turning out some un-real quality stuff. This guitar is full of natural harmonics, just have a look at the demo video!
Light bird’s eye maple neck, dark grain rosewood fingerboard. Nitro finish off course!
The bridge pickup is sick, outrageously good. A full, thick twang tone, just the right balance of treble and bass and just the right amount of killer tone. Its all right there, the killer Tele tone as well as the much sought after SRV/Hendrix type of scream (yes, thats right, with a Tele!)…..the bridge PUP is sweet smooth blues. Put this thing through a TS-9 Tubescreamer and a wah pedal and a tube amp and you have the Telecaster tone, just a great classic blues rock funkiness sound.
It comes with the Custom Shop Certificate (signed by Mike Eldred), original hard case in almost new condition without any serious marks on it and a Fender lead.
Well, the price: a brand new, MASS MADE, Fender American Vintage Telecaster goes for £1400…this is a Custom Shop HAND MADE guitar…hope I don’t have to explain the difference…and I’d like to get £1250 for it. SOLD
