2006 Fender 60th Diamond Anniversary American Standard Stratocaster

This is a very rare American Standard Strat from their 60th Anniversary year. As you can see it in my video this USA Standard Strat is a real pleasure to play, combining the classic heritage of the Stratocaster with modern features such as a 9.5 radius, 2 point trem, 22 frets and medium jumbo frets, MOTHER OF PEARL INLAYS, diamond anniversary neck plate and headstock badge with a little “diamond”. The American Vintage pickups that this limited edition guitar comes with sound fantastic! Also, I like the  satin urethane finish  neck, it’s really silky and smooth. It comes presented in it’s limited edition silver case which had a hard time…to be honest all these 60th Anniversary cases look like this…Fender used some very sensitive cover on these so they look roadworn…however it’s a proper, heavy duty hard case so it protects the guitar very well! It also comes with some tags and case candy (please watch my video).

The American Standard Strats have always been sought after, highly appreciated models and this limited edition version commands a higher value than the normal edition. Just check the lot of extra features that this has compared to a “normal” American Standard.

This is not a mint guitar. As I said in my video, I usually sell mint guitars but this is definitely not one of them. I’d rather call it “good condition” as it has some proper, genuine, honest playing marks all around (HENCE THE PRICE)! No fake relic’ing from the factory…but genuine playing marks. It plays great, sounds great, looks great and if you don’t mind these little marks than you get an awesome guitar!

Same age “Normal” American Standard Strats in Sunburst go way above £1200++ nowadays…and you don’t get anything “decent” that Fender made in the USA below £1K…however, you can get this Diamond 60th Anniversary Limited Edition model for LESS than that!!!
