2022 Gibson Custom Shop ’59 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS 70th Anniversary “Handpicked top”

Now this is a really special stuff! Obviously it’s a Gibson Custom Shop ’59 Les Paul in probably the most sought after finish (Royal Tea Burst) but it’s also a “HANDPICKED” version! So these guitars come with amazing looking flame maple tops anyway but Peach Guitars who was the original importer / dealer flew over to Nashville and hand selected / picked the best looking flame maple top OUT OF THE ALREADY SELECTED woods assigned to Custom Shop 59 Les Pauls by the wood graders at Gibson 🙂 so it’s really a special one!

This guitar was sold to the previous owner by Peach Guitars for £5900 (it’s still on their website).

So really a once in a lifetime guitar / investment (as it’s also a 70th anniversary model – just look at the badge – these go up in value like crazy)

Apart from a minimal aniline dye bleed onto the neck binding (nothing wrong with it, it’s a very period correct thing and it happens on all the originals and Custom Shop reissues) the guitar is in ABSOLUTE MINT, ALL ORIGINAL condition.

It’s a Custom Shop guitar made out of lighter wood so it’s lighter than any new production made normal Les Paul Standard with it’s 4.3kg.

It comes with its original Gibson hard case and candy. (please check the photos and video)
