Now this is the Daddy: a 1959 Les Paul Reissue… I don’t think I need to write much about this as it’s such a well-known, legendary model. This is the Historic R9 Les Paul model in the VOS format. It’s from 2017 with all the features we all love:
One-piece rosewood fingerboards
Aniline Dye
Kluson Deluxe machine heads
Hot Hide Glue Neck Fit
Custom Buckers
Historic Truss Rod Assembly (no tubing)
Accurate body and fingerboard binding color
…these guitars are second to none in every aspect.
These 2017 models have all the TRUE HISTORIC parts so these guitars are definitely the most accurate versions of the original 1959 Les Pauls.
It really plays and sounds as you can expect from a Custom Shop Gibson! These Custombucker pickups are phenomenal!
This is only a few years old guitar, it’s not been played in MINT condition apart from an unserious little mark near the strap holder button (check the picture about it) !
It comes with its original Gibson Custom Shop case (in mint condition), Custom Shop certificate, all candy, hang tags etc…have a look at the pictures!
This guitar plays as nice as it looks and it appears to have spent 99% of it’s time in the case. A very exciting guitar for the collector or player and a nice buy on a MINT, CLEAN second hand example Custom Shop R9 at £3700 SOLD
