2011 Gibson SG Standard in Vintage Sunburst colour! A real blues/rock guitar with a premium quality, one piece mahagony body. It’s got the great all around rock pickups that you could hear on millions of rock albums (ask Angus Young, Tony Iommi or Daron Malakian from System of a Down about it). There is something special in the sound of these guitars…especially in the midrange that helps to cut through the mix and has a great throaty distorted sound. This model has been used but a very well look after guitar. It has some minor scratches on the very sensitive back side and some sign of usage on the hard case but apart from these it’s in very good condition. This is what Gibson states about it:

The 490R in the neck position is made with an Alnico II magnet and wound to vintage specs for plenty of warm vocal tones with impressive clarity. The 498T in the bridge position has an Alnico V magnet for more punch, and a few more turns of coil wire for a hotter performance overall, giving you everything from meaty crunch to searing leads. Your tone is anchored by the classic pairing of a Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, with a set of vintage-style TonePros tuners installed at the other side of the PLEK-cut Corian nut.
