2010 Fender Custom Shop ’62 Stratocaster NOS

Man this sounds great…when it arrived I had 4 other Fender Custom Shop Strats here in my studio and I played them regularly but as you can see it in my video my ears immediately noticed something special! I’ve been playing on top end Strats for 10 years so my ears are well trained 🙂 so I thought there’s something special going on with this Strat! Next morning I took the strings and the scratchplate off to see what pickups it has and yes that was the secret: a set of Abigail Ybarra “Abby” Hand wound pickups…these are really wonderful, special sounding pickups. There’s a reason why a set of these costs £700+++ yes the pickups alone!!! She is a legend! Check her story out definitely!

So this beauty has a set of Abby handwound pickups, a premium quality alder body, maple neck and very dark rosewood fretboard! Medium jumbo frets and 9.5” radius! It’s already 11 years old and it’s in ABSOLUTE MINT / NEW CONDITION! It comes with its original hard case, candy and Custom Shop certificate! All original, unmolested beatiful NOS Strat so no fake damages on it! It’s a wonderful investment. The price of these go out of the roof every year…nowadays even more than usual…it’s a 11 years old in new condition, with all case candy and with the most sought after pickup set…no brainer… it looks and sounds great as you can see it in my video!
