2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard (SOLD)
SOLD
Here is the real deal Buddies! 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard with the following features that you won’t get with the overcomplicated new ones:
– ONE PIECE MAHOGANY BODY, nowadays this is only available on the Historic Reissue models, and also it looks bloody amazing! I’ve got a brand new 2014 model here and it’s back doesn’t look like this and that is two pieces of centre joined body with lot of glue…
– NON CHAMBERED BODY, this is a great sounding, warm and beefy LP
– normal 60s NECK not the new extra slim one with compound radius etc
– AMAZING, DARK, GRAINY ROSEWOOD fretboard, if you compare it to the new ones you will see what I’m talking about…
– WHITE BONE GIBSON DELUXE Tuners WITHOUT the stupid MINI E-TUNE…I bloody hate this idea from Gibson…what a ridiculous idea…you can’t buy a GIBSON without MINI E-tune…few more years and you won’t be able to buy a Gibson without a PICKING ROBOT or what???
– VOLUME AND TONE knobs that look great and do what they need to do WITHOUT trying to turn a Les Paul to a Strat or Tele…if you ever played a real Strat or Tele, you will only laugh on these attempts as I do…I never use this new feature on my 2014 LP Standard…I hate this feature as it these coil tapped sounds are horrible and nowhere near to a Fender
So here you have it, good old 13 years old, amazing looking Gibson Les Paul! It’s in AMAZING condition, no buckle rush or any chips or dents.
It comes with its original, great looking BROWN Gibson hard case! You won’t be disappointed with this, a great investment and a real head turner guitar for £1500 SOLD
