2001 Fender American Standard Stratocaster

This is a now collectible guitar as it’s already 23 years old and it’s in museum condition 🙂 I mean it’s in ABSOLUTE MINT, original condition! What great guitar, and this colour is very rare! I haven’t seen another American Standard in “Hot Rod Red”! Also it’s the sought after rosewood board version instead of maple. And as I said in the video the rosewood on this is awesome! Not too bright and very nicely figured!

I also admire the factory fitted “bone nut” instead of later version’s modern “synthetic plastic” nut…

The neck shape is awesome too: this is a slim C shape neck without the compound radius but with great fretwork and 9.5” radius. I tell you what these are great guitars! I’ve recorded 6 Stratocaster demos today, all of them are USA made Standards, Ultra, Elite and Custom Shop and apart from the Custom Shop one this is the best so far for my taste. I like this better then the other production made Strats here! The Custom Shop Strat is in a different league but the price is the double…
