1997 Gibson ES-175

Have you seen a better looking 26 years Gibson Jazz Box? Yes this was made in 1997 and the previous owner (who was the first owner) really looked after it…and don’t play on it…so this guitar is in unreal condition…not even nitro checking or fret wear…a bit of natural oxidisation on the metal parts and some very small marks that’s all…

And it sounds so good!!! I’ve set it up for myself (with gauge 11 flatwounds…), cleaned it and this beauty is now FANTASTIC! It plays in tune, stays in tune and plays like butter now…man there’s a reason why these have become the industry standard Jazz guitars…have a listen to my demos!

This is the “figured” version of this range and you can clearly see on the pictures and video it was built from very highly figured maple!!!

So it’s all original from the first owner (it even comes with it’s purchasing invoice from the official dealer in 1998…)

I’m sure you know but these are FANTASTIC INVESTMENTS! The price of these are increasing rapidly since Gibson stopped producing them a few years ago…there are less and less on the market and definitely not too many in this VERY NEAR MINT, ALL ORIGINAL condition!
